You deserve to be celebrated with the right people around you. At SOHO in the Meatpacking District, you can rent event spaces with character for your private party, with room for up to 200 guests and space for everything that makes a party memorable.

Some days deserve more than a decorated dining table at home. A milestone birthday, an anniversary, a copper wedding, a confirmation, or a party for the people who mean the most to you. When you rent an event space for your private party with us, we provide you with a memorable experience.

For example, invite your guests to a summer party under the open sky on our Rooftop in the Meatpacking District, with a large barbecue buffet and a view of the sun setting over Copenhagen's rooftops, while the DJ plays music for dancing and celebration.

Or host a party with fun activities in our 'Café' event space, which is equipped with features such as darts, foosball, and table tennis, as well as a large dance floor and lighting.

The possibilities are endless, and we are happy to help you find the event space that suits your party and your wishes.

Our 4 unique event venues are located in the Meatpacking District, an industrial and creative part of Copenhagen.

What makes SOHO special is the atmosphere that flows throughout the building—a creative and vibrant environment that extends beyond just the event spaces. From the moment you step through the door until you reach your room, there is something to experience along the way.

It gives your guests something unique to talk about—and makes the journey to the party part of the experience. Furthermore, we are centrally located: a short distance from public transport (Dybbølsbro and Copenhagen Central Station), with good hotel options nearby and the possibility of parking in front of the building.

how the process works

Book a venue tour in the Meatpacking District: Here you will meet our Event Manager, Sahra, who will be your dedicated contact person throughout the entire process.

‍Tour: We invite you for a tour of the premises, where we can discuss the possibilities for your event.

‍Quote: You will receive a non-binding quote tailored to your event.

‍Planning: We will go through the menu, drinks, table settings, and the schedule for the day together.

‍The Venue: For events starting at 6:00 PM, you generally have access to the venue from 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM.

‍Confirmation: The reservation is confirmed once the quote has been accepted and the deposit paid.

‍The Big Day: We take care of the setting so you can enjoy the party with your guests.

Planning from A to Z

Gala dinner, dance floor, DJ, and entertainment. We take care of the practical details so you can simply enjoy the evening.

How much does it cost to host a private party at SOHO?

Every party is different, and we offer various party and catering packages to suit your event. You can add extras to your package if you wish.

Example: Dinner party with wine menu and open bar (7 hours)

What type of food does SOHO offer for private parties?

Our chefs work with local ingredients and take pride in creating the perfect match between your wishes and what ends up on the plate. We offer packages that can easily be customized, and we naturally accommodate all special dietary requirements.

During the planning meeting with our event manager, Sahra, she will show you the various options and categories. The food for your party is prepared and plated in-house, ensuring it is served fresh.

What are the options for playing music?

We offer modern sound and lighting facilities in all rooms. Microphones, projectors, and screens are included in the price.

If you don't have a DJ, we are happy to help you book one. We also have great experience with live music and bands for parties – it usually works very well.

If you want to capture the evening, we also have contacts for renting a photobooth, which we can help set up.

A DJ booth and PA system can be rented for 2,500 DKK excl. VAT.
A DJ can be booked separately as an add-on for 2,500 DKK excl. VAT per hour (min. 4 hours).

Does the price include decorations?

We provide stylish table settings with tablecloths, cloth napkins, plates, glassware, candles, and simple floral decorations. If you would like specific decorations, a theme, or anything else to further personalize your party, you are welcome to bring those yourself.

are there accommodation options nearby?

We have partnership agreements with a number of nearby hotels. If you or your guests would prefer not to drive home, please contact us by email or phone, and we can help with a solution and a small discount.

are there parking options nearby?

If some of your guests are arriving by car, parking is important when hosting a party in Copenhagen.
At the Kødbyen parking lot, located right next to SOHO, you can park for free for 1 hour on weekdays before 5:00 PM. After 5:00 PM and throughout the weekend, parking is free.

If you are hosting your private party on the weekend, parking in the Kødbyen lot is free.

what are the accessibility facilities like?

If you or any of your guests have difficulty using stairs, we offer elevator access to all floors.
